  • Steve Gray

    CEO & President

    Stephen “Steve”Gray has been in and around the music business for 20 plus years. Gray began as a drummer and lead singer in bands that led him on his journey to the music scene of Athens, GA as a performer. As a songwriter, he pitched and co-wrote songs in Nashville, TN.

    In 2018, he began writing with and developing Nashville Rising Artist Noah Vonne eventually becoming her Business Manager. Under the Mentorship and Guidance of famed Austin, Tx Entertainment Attorney Mike Tolleson (Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett) Gray founded indie record label Gray Vonne Records with Partner/Artist Vonne in 2019.

    In 2019, Gray also teamed up with Russell Brantley and Ivory Daniel (House of Pain, Everlast) at The Empire Agency in Malibu, CA along with Vonne as she signed as an Opener for Shawn James’ The Dark and The Light Tour and BRIT and Grammy Award Winning Artist KT Tunstall’s Winter Warmer Tour.

    Gray Vonne Records began recording Vonne’s Debut Album with Multi-Platinum Selling Musician, Writer and Music Producer Jimmy Messer in Los Angeles, CA in 2020. Gray also partnered with Shayna Casey and Modern Works Publishing (Allison Kraus, Ani Difranco, Third Eye Blind, Andy Summers, Bootsy Collins, John Legend, Ronnie Spector,Toni Braxton) in LA with Vonne in a multiple-song deal that same year.

    In 2021, Gray partnered with Rusty Harmon (Hootie & The Blowfish) at Vere Music in Nashville to sign a joint venture deal for Gray Vonne Records and the Release of Noah Vonne’s Debut LP “We Weren’t Sober” with Warner Music Group/ADA (Alternative Distribution Alliance). Gray also co-wrote two of the songs on the Album with Vonne, “We Weren’t Sober” and “LA Witchy Woman”.

    Gray Vonne Records completed their first National Headlining Tour, “Little Escape” with Vonne in 2022 with Jakob Nowell as the Opener, son of the late singer for the musical group Sublime, Bradley Nowell.

    Gray founded MediaRow in Nashville in 2020 with the beginning foundation of artists such as Michael Franti (Michael Franti & Spearhead), Jennifer Nettles (Sugarland), and Judah and The Lion.

    Gray resides in Los Angeles, CA and Houston, Tx. He is a member of The Society for American Music, the Nashville Chapter of the Music Business Association and the Recording Musicians Association of Los Angeles.

  • Taylor Ballantyne

    VP & DIRECTOR OF CONTENT CREATION

    Ballantyne is a Sony sponsored Director and Photographer specializing in commercial, advertising, print, editorial and feature film. She began her career as a commercial photographer for many brands and publications, the main being Sports Illustrated over the last 10 years receiving National Covers. Ballantyne directed a short film accompanied by a photographic spread for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's Body Paint portion of their magazine entitled "In Her Own Words" which was featured on Good Morning America and aired at the Cannes Lions Film Festival. Ballantyne directed a chart-reaching music video entitled "I Would've Loved You" with "The Voice" winner Jake Hoot featuring Kelly Clarkson. Shortly after, Ballantyne relocated to Nashville, TN and directed her first feature length documentary and concert film for The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, which premiered at the end of 2022 at the Belcourt Theatre in Nashville, TN. She has gone on to direct many music videos working with major labels. She continues to build her craft in the commercial and film fields and gathers her inspiration in lively creative environments surrounded by artists of all kinds.

    Shadon has 10 years of professional influencer marketing experiences ranging from some of the world largest venture back brands including Hinge, LG, PatPat and Pernod Ricard's very own Rabbit Hole. In 2019, he co-founded his first startup Sphere, where he built a hyper-local influencer algorithm with over 550,000 influencers all organized by their geo-location and over 20 performance indicators. In the past 4 years alone he has delivered $2.7MM in influencer campaigns catalyzing over 1 billion targeted digital impressions, and $4.8MM in sales.

    While attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Amanda became “Amanda Panda,” a radio personality on Z104’s highly popular morning show, Connie & Fish in the Mornings (Top 40 Radio). Before owning her own PR company, Amanda has been the Head of Publicity for major corporations like Plan A Media and The Musebox. Over the course of her career she has worked with and nurtured the careers of many artists like Vanessa Carlton, We Are Scientists, Ari Hest, Creed Bratton, Bob Seger, Justin Currie, Sugar Ray, Frankie Valli, The Neighbourhood, Anna Rose, Shiny Toy Guns, Spindrift, The Glitch Mob, to name a few. She’s had a multitude of her artist’s featured in publications such as Nylon Magazine, Rolling Stone, The Hollywood Reporter, The New York Times, Pigeons & Planes, New York Magazine, and have appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Last Call with Carson Daly, and CONAN. As the Founder and CEO of Black Panda PR, Amanda brings both undeniable passion and well over a decade of experience to the world of music publicity.
